In his works for COMPAGNIE DESSOURCES, the artistic director and choreographer Nono Battesti devotes himself to the ups and downs of life. The ensemble presents a rousing symbiosis of African hip-hop, contemporary dance and body percussion elements. The music is played live and is inspired by soul and blues.

The COMPAGNIE ILLICITE BAYONNE was founded in 2015 by Fábio Lopez, artistic director and resident choreographer. Deeply linked to the history of dance, his artistic work follows the aesthetic line of David Dawson, Hans van Manen, Jean-Christophe Maillot and Thierry Malandain.

Spellbound Contemporary Ballet

In 1994 the SPELLBOUND CONTEMPORARY BALLET was founded by the artistic director Mauro Astolfi. Two years later, Valentina Marini joined as general manager. Under their leadership, the company developed into one of the best contemporary ensembles in Europe.
