Die zeitgenössische Tanzcompagnie 420PEOPLE, benannt nach der tschechischen Landesvorwahl, wurde 2007/2008 von Václav Kuneš und Nataša Novotná gegründet, nachdem sie aus einem der renommiertesten Tanztheatern der Welt, Jiří Kyliáns Nederlands Dans Theater in ihre Heimat zurückgekehrt waren. 420PEOPLE ist ein Zusammenspiel aus hervorragender Tanzqualität, Professionalität und komplexer Verspieltheit. 420PEOPLE, named after the Czech country code, was founded by Václav Kuneš and Nataša Novotná in 2007, after they returned home from one of the most prestigious dance theatres – Jiří Kylián's Nederlands Dans Theater. 420PEOPLE is a fusion of outstanding dance quality, professionalism, sophisticated playfulness, and true daringness.

Darüber hinaus ist 420PEOPLE ein Kollektiv von Künstlern, die größten Wert auf außergewöhnliche Qualität der Leistung und Professionalität legen. Ihre Arbeiten sind zugleich verspielt und mutig und bringen ein nahezu unendliches Vokabular des zeitgenössischen Tanzes auf die Bühne.

Beside this, 420PEOPLE is a collective of artists who insist on the values of exceptional quality of performance and professionalism. Their pieces are playful and courageous, bringing on stage a nearly sheer vocabulary of contemporary dance.

Václav Kuneš verwirklicht – zusammen mit seinen Kollegen aus diversen anderen Kunstbereichen – seine Visionen und schafft unter dem Label Made By Czech Choreographien, die ein integraler Bestandteil der internationalen Tanzszene sind.

Václav Kuneš together with his colleagues from diverse art‘s fields carry out their artistic vision and effort to produce works of the label Made By Czech that are integral parts of the international dance scene.

Gleichzeitig legt 420PEOPLE großen Wert darauf, ihre eigenen Arbeiten mit denen renommierter Künstler wie u.a. Jiří Kylián, Shusaku Takeuchi und Ohad Naharin zu kombinieren.
